Summer 2002, Sunchild-O-Chiese Ministry

Cleve & Bernice Cheney, from South Africa, came to minister at Sunchild-O'Chiese. They are living in a trailer house beside the residence of Caroline Beaver Bones, a former chief of the O'Chiese Reserve. They are holding regular services, Bible Studies, and doing all the various duties of ministering on these Reserves. Currently they are scheduled to return to South Africa in October. The Cheney's first came when we were living on Sunchild, about 2 years ago. They have been well received, and are doing much to build up the the Christians. They have received considerable help from the Christian community in and around Rocky Mountain House. The car they are using this summer, (in this picture), was donated by Pete Dirksen. We got to spend a couple weeks working with the Cheneys during the month of August.
