Page 1 ..Ft. McPherson VBS - Summer 2002

At the end of July this staff of workers traveled over from Alaska to hold VBS here at Ft. McPherson. These workers are all part of the Far North Missionary Fellowship. Crafts, Bible stories, singing, and recreation was all part of the schedule. The afternoon classes were made up mostly of younger students, and the evening sessions were mostly teens. Led by John and Yvonne Betters, and Dwayne and Gwen Newton. Dwayne is pastor of the North Pole Missionary Chapel. These folks left a great influence on this village and especially the lives of the youth here.
