Eight Day Hike in the Rockies

Please wait for slideshow to load.

Camera - Olympus Stylus 780

In September 2007 I hiked for 8 days in the Canadian Rockies. I left Kootenay Plains, on the border of the Banff-Jasper national parks, and traveled up White Rabbit creek from Abraham Lake. I crossed over to the headwaters of the South Ram river and traveled downstream to Ram Falls. I was by myself since I didn't have anyone who would go with me. In the camp pictures you can see that I would hang things up in the trees to distract the bears (hopefully) at night while I was sleeping. This is Grizzly bear country.

The slide show contains 20 pictures and takes a minute or two for it to load into memory before it can start running. Please wait for it to load.
