From the town of Rocky Mountain House there are two roads that lead to the Sunchild Mission. But since the Sunchild Forestry Road is now paved, I am only giving directions via the Sunchild Road. The other route follows the O'Chiese road which is a gravel road. When we get several days of rain, the O'Chiese road can get in very rough condition, so we only recommend the Sunchild road route. Since it is very common for new visitors to get lost, sometimes 'really' lost...we are giving detailed directions with pictures showing each intersection along with the exact mileage distance between each intersection.
