Tuesday November 29, 2011

Today Karen visited people in the Rocky Hospital and visited a lady from Sunchild who is a paraplegic in Red Deer. She went on to Three Hills where she will be spending time with family and taking some time off as ordered by the doctor. My day began with another visit by the former chief who brought some more materials for the Nativity barn they want me to build. I worked on that today and got it started. Rosalee and Ryan stopped by and stayed a while. They came out to pick up the kids they are taking to the hockey game tonight. I wrote previously about the contagious virus that has hit here as well as other areas in Alberta. That has shut down our violin lessons for several days now, so we are waiting for it to run it's course. Neither Rosalee or Karen were available to hold the Ladies Meeting tonight, so arrangements were made for others to do it but the virus shut that down tonight also. The husband of the lady who died recently came by today and we set up an appointment for me to hold a service with the family. I had to spend a lot of time on the phone today with people that called. Neighbor boys came after school but I was too busy to work with them. We sure need helpers who can be here for the youth when they come. Had to spend time on office work also today.

I forgot to take pictures all day so I just snapped one out in the wood shed splitting wood tonight.
