Yukon - Northwest Territories Border Momument

The Dempster Highway is the only highway in Canada that crosses the Arctic Circle and penetrates the Arctic. It begins in the Yukon near Dawson City, and here it crosses into the Northwest Territories. We are in the upslope cloud conditions pictured in the previous page.
