Dear Friends,

Karen got her ticket to fly to Old Crow to supervise VBS this summer. She will be taking a team from the Korean Churches in Calgary. She also spent many hours on the phone counseling people who live too far away to come here, and have no one else to look to for help. This is really exhausting work and takes time she would normally be getting a break from her normal work here.

This month we were able to have our youth group go into town to join in with the Nazarene Church youth. There were numerous evenings this month when the local youth came to play games and visit here in our house.

We had a good touch of winter with a blizzard and 40 below temperatures also, just a reminder of where we are. Our normal activities were Sunday Services, Sunday School, Wednesday Ladies meetings, Friday Youth night, and Saturday teams from the Calgary Korean Churches to work with youth on both Sunchild and O'Chiese Reserves.

I'll let the pictures below tell the rest of the story.

In this Friday night youth group we had a team of students from Prairie Bible College in Three Hills, Alberta come for two days and helped out.

Below is the Bible College team. One of the fellows was a given a puppy by one of our neighbors to take home!

The teen Sunday School class has been meeting in the Church upstairs apartment, but will have to give it up this summer because we will need it when we take our house down and build another one.

Below we have Monica from Drayton Valley with her class of young ones.

Monica's church sent prepared packets of crafts for several weeks of classes. This takes a tremendous load off Karen to have to prepare them by herself. Two of the Korean team leaders came back to help with Sunday School classes, Jinsu and Minsu are brothers.

In this pictue below Monica is showing one of the crafts. They did a great job on these and the kids love them.

Three students from the Prairie Bible College came to help with the youth group. They will be graduating this year.

This is a picture of those three students. They stayed over and went back Saturday.

This is Sean, a computer technician that came with a Korean team. Here he is working on our computer.

Sean is repairing the video card in the computer so it will work with the software we use for our website.

On this Sunday we had a Korean pastor bring his family and a team to help out.

Tom, with the red scarf, is the Korean pastor in Calgary and is here with his family and other volunteers that helped on Sunday with the Sunday School.

Below, Karen is working with Jenelle to tutor her cousin until the end of Feb. Now she is instructing a teacher about how to teach ACE every Monday evening.

Please help us pray for these needs and for God's blessing on this ministry. In Jesus, Rodger & Karen Rinker
